About Chris

This campaign is a Louisiana First movement grounded in bipartisan cooperation, because for far too long, racial and socio-economic divisions have fractured our communities and stalled our progress. My campaign is about healing those divides and forging true communion among the people of Louisiana's 6th District—and beyond. We must come together not as rivals, but as neighbors, and commit ourselves to building a shared future that uplifts every parish, every family, and every voice.

Our communities deserve transparency and measurable outcomes when it comes to how federal dollars are spent. I am calling for rigorous oversight and strategic investment of taxpayer resources to ensure they are directed where they are needed most—toward improving schools, infrastructure, healthcare access, and small business growth. Our government must be accountable to the people who fund it, and my leadership will be rooted in responsibility, efficiency, and results.

Louisiana’s urban and historically Black communities are often the first to feel the strain when public resources are stretched thin. We must address the unchecked influx of undocumented individuals that is placing additional burdens on essential services such as housing, education, and healthcare. My campaign advocates for strong, sensible policies to manage immigration flow and ensure that Louisiana’s residents—especially those in vulnerable and underserved communities—are not left behind or forced to compete for what should already belong to them.

Louisiana’s global roots run deep. As a Baton Rouge native, I know foreign policy impacts us daily—through our ports, trade, and cultural ties. Our French/Spanish heritage, diverse languages, and mixed traditions make us unique.

Bottom line: Every committee assignment must serve Louisiana’s workers, families, and long-term interests. I will prioritize committees where we can wield real influence and bring tangible results—not just make symbolic gestures. My goal is to put Louisiana at the center of national conversations that shape our future.

The Bible is my favorite book because every time I’ve felt stuck in life, I’ve found the answer in God’s Word. Whether I’m facing uncertainty, loss, or frustration, the Scriptures speak directly to the heart. From Ecclesiastes, I’ve learned that everything in life has a season, and that God’s timing is always wiser than our own. The story of Esther shows how God can use the most unlikely people to fulfill His purpose—and that’s encouraging to someone like me who never expected to run for office. The Gospels remind me that our Creator didn’t just give us rules—He gave us His presence. Jesus walked among us, healed the broken, forgave the rejected, and reminded us we are never alone. That kind of love changes everything.

Faith, Justice, Union—our flag’s values guide my vision:
• Faith: Lead with compassion in diplomacy
• Justice: Fair trade, secure borders
• Union: Strong alliances, LA-first policies

Together let's fight for:
Fair deals for our energy/agriculture
Immigration reform that protects communities
Our Federal dollars going to Louisiana needs first

We deserve a voice in decisions affecting us. Louisiana’s wisdom—balancing tradition and openness—can guide America. "Louisiana First"

Ensemble, nous allons—together, we will.
